SKILLS DEVELOPMENT FUND (SDF) PROJECTS AT HTU

The TVERC Centre under the auspices of the Office of the Vice-Chancellor coordinated and won the underlisted projects which were funded by the Skills Development Fund (SDF).

The projects are:

  • Development of Training Modules for Competency- Based Training (CBT) of Artisans in Vehicle Electronic Diagnostics (SDF-II-235), being implemented in the Department of Mechanical Engineering with an SDF grant of GH¢245,131.00; and
  • Development of Tailor-Made Curriculum for Training Farmer Groups in Appropriate Irrigation Technologies and Practice (SDF-II-715), being implemented in the Department of Agricultural Engineering with an SDF grant of GH¢240,265.00.
  • Development of training modules for the Tile Industry to be implemented by the Department of Building Technology with an SDF grant of GH¢ 155,320.00
  • Digital boosting of SMEs to be implemented by the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Technology with an SDF grant of GH¢ 199,150.00
  • Development of training modules for the apparel industry to be implemented by the Department of Fashion and Textile Design with an SDF grant of GH¢ 185,310.00
